International Outreach Camp Ukraine 2006

Fourteen international students from five countries joined more than 230 Ukrainian students over the course of four weeks in Ukraine for Model European Union, Model United Nations and Creativity classes in three cities – Mykolayiv, Donetsk and Ternopil. In addition to classes, participants built skills in teamwork, collaboration and relationships that crossed cultural barriers. It is this last item that turned out to be the key to a successful program – students were able to break down stereotypes and build real relationships that continue via phone, email and letters today.
