International Outreach Camp Ukraine 2007

IOC 2007 Ukraine brought more than 180 Ukrainian and 19 international staff and students to two camps in Ukraine. International participants came from Albania Armenia, Russia and the United States. We studied civic leadership, sharing cultures, eight countries, theater and creativity and team development. Students debated the topic of immigration at a Model UN session, explored different cultures, performed in talent shows, created and implemented camp projects (including a bonfire, charity football game, group t-shirts, a camp video, fed homeless animals and more!) and competed in team competitions and events. Currently, approximately ten Youth Engaged in Society (YES) projects are underway across the country. International students visited Kyiv, Kaminets-Podilsky, Odessa and Mykolayiv.
