Application Process for IOC 2008 Armenia

Application for IOC 2008 consists of both an application form and a personal interview.

International Students:

Application deadline is 1 May 2008.
You must be between 17 and 22 years old on July 14, 2008 to apply.
Costs :
$600 US for all international students:
We have a limited number of scholarships to bring the cost down to $150* (for applicants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine) and $200** (for applicants from Illinois).

Note: We will be seeking grants to reduce costs, and we will post changes as they occur!

Read the Participant Agreement information (this includes Participant Agreement, Medical Form and Authorization for Treatment) and the Code of Conduct on the website. If you are accepted, you will need to agree to follow the Participant Agreement and Code of Conduct. You only need to read these forms right now.

You will be contacted within 1 week to confirm your application has been received.
An interview will be arranged for you either by phone or in person.
Final selections will be announced on 1 May 2008.
Payment is due on 15 May 2008. See www.iocoaltion.org for payment information, as this is being adjusted as we receive grants.

*	Scholarships are available through funding from the Regional English Language Office of the U.S. Embassy, Ukraine.
**	The University of Chicago has made a $400 scholarship available for your participation through CEERES. The student who receives this scholarship agrees to create and deliver a community presentation upon their return that highlights information about Ukraine or Armenia.

Read the Code of Conduct . You will need to agree to follow the Code of Conduct if you are accepted. You do not need to do anything with this form now.
