Tentative curriculum - International Outreach Camp Ukarine 2008

Team Development: every day you will attend a class on team development where you will do some practical exercises, discuss the role you played the day before and accept your new role for the day. Later in the day, you will attend Totally Team Time and play your role as the team works to overcome challenges. Competitions in the evening are fun time for your team to work together to overcome challenges against other teams.

Teach-the-Teacher: spend five days learning about teaching and developing a lesson plan for an elective course. Teach your elective course and attend your peer’s classes as you give each other feedback and learn to be more effective teachers.

Project Planning: spend five days learning about how to analyze the needs of a community and design projects to meet those needs. Work with your classmates to design and implement a project on the campsite.
